Domaine Nicolas Grosbois

Chinon, Loire Valley

Nicolas Grosbois took over the family estate in Panzoult in 2008, after several winemaking experiences in France and abroad, notably in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Chile. Initially focused around Chinon, the vineyard has also developed around Azay le Rideau. In addition to the cabernet franc grown on the slopes of Panzoult, chenin vines have now been added.

Nicolas Grosbois has gradually reintroduced the vine into a larger agricultural framework: the estate also includes nearly thirty hectares of cereals, several hectares of meadows, and livestock. This logic of polyculture aims to recreate a more autonomous agricultural operation around the vineyard.

Alongside the estate, Nicolas has created a trading activity where he showcases the diversity of the appellations of the Loire Valley. He selects certified organic grapes from various winemakers to produce accessible wines that are immediately oriented towards pleasure.
